DARPA Signal Processing at RF (SPAR) Award

DARPA has announced the following awards for the Signal Processing at RF (SPAR) program, DARPA-BAA-16-20:

  •   Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation in Redondo Beach CA.  The award amount is $2,864,588 for Phase 1, $2,267,640 for Phase 2, $2,378,817 for Phase 3, and $244,603 for Phase 3.
  • University of California, Davis in Davis, CA.  The award amount is $1,159,619 for Phase 1, $1,001,329 for Phase 2, and $1,025,460 for Phase 3.
  • The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO.  The award amount is  $796,633 for Phase 1, $665,736 for Phase 2 and $1,071,745 for Phase 3.
  • Rockwell Collins, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA.  The award amount is $2,819,461 for Phase 1, $2,424,695 for Phase 2, $4,174,674 for Phase 3, and $437,813 for a Phase 3 option.

The Signal Processing at RF (SPAR) technology aims to mitigate both self and externally generated interfering signals of known and unknown characteristics. The goal of SPAR is to demonstrate novel in-band signal interference mitigation technologies using analog signal processing techniques as well as novel chip-scale circulator approaches.
